New York Post Office - Early 20th Century

The old Post Office, designed by Alfred B. Mullett, was built between 1869 and 1880, and demolished in 1939. It replaced the Post Office that occupied, since 1844, the former Middle Dutch Church, located on the corner Nassau Street and Liberty Street.
