Brooklyn Bridge in the 19th Century

 

View of the Fulton Ferry station and Brooklyn Bridge as seen from Brooklyn. The station started service on April 24, 1888 and the ferry ceased operation on January 19, 1924. It closed on June 1, 1940.

Original title: New York und Brooklyn Hängebrücke über den East River. Published about 1886. Publisher: Charles Magnus (1826-1900), hand-colored lithograph in pictorial lettersheets (150 Views of New York and Environs).
