Dakota Apartment House - 1890
Dakota Apartment House (title of the photo) at 1 West Seventy-second Street, Upper West Side in Manhattan, looking north from above W 71st St. Central Park is to the right. Completed in 1884, The Dakota is a very early example of an elegant and luxurious New York City apartment building.
The Hotel Majestic was built on the lots on the left, in 1894.
