Gild Hall
The Gild Hall, a Thompson Hotel, is located at 15 Gold Street, corner of Platt St. Financial District, Lower Manhattan, an area with towering skyscrapers. It is a Hyatt Privé property and part of the Thompson Hotels collection.
Gild Hall is a 18-story hotel built in 1998, with 138 units, each with a different design but with the same palette and tones. The hotel was designed by Jim Walrod (1961-2017) in a combination of rustic luxury and modernity.
The hotel facilities include the Italian restaurant Felice in the ground floor, the adjacent La Soffitta bar, fitness center, meeting rooms, lobby furnished with tufted leather couches, deer antler lights and knotty-pine walls (Times),
Gild Hall is a short walk from Wall Street, the historic Delmonico’s Restaurant, City Hall Park, Trinity Church and the South Street Seaport.
