Brooklyn Bridge and New York Sky Line
Brooklyn Bridge from City Hall. Manhattan to Sands St. Construction of Brooklyn Bridge, over the East River, started in 1870, opened May 24th. 1883. It was then considered the world's greatest achievement in bridge construction. Total length 6,016 feet, width 85 feet.
