Broadway at Park Row Intersection
This is an area of immense historical importance. It marked the end of Broadway until the mid-18th century, when it was extended through the Fields, now City Hall Park. Vesey, Barclay and Ann streets also converge in this area.
Historic buildings like the St. Paul's Chapel, old mansions, the old Astor House, the old Post Office, the American Museum, the Herald Building, the St. Paul Building, the Park Row Building and the Transportation Building made history here.
In November 2000, it was created the Millennium Park, a small plaza located at this intersection. At its southern tip is the David Rockefeller Clock, a new clock, cast in a 19th century mold.
